Balancing humanity

This book deals with the holidays, and for anyone, it can be hectic, but this shows a unique side. The undead or the almost humans have a connection with humans, and the relationships can be impulsive, loyal, and sometimes tumultuous, but filled with intrigue. Cain, Alyson and Mattie are the focus of the story and how the holidays should bring family but also bring chaos. It's a continuing vampire saga. *This Book Was Given To Me In Exchange For An Honest Review*

This is the third novella in book 2 of the Almost Human series by author Melanie Nowak and although readers don't need to read book 1 I do feel they would need to read the first novellas in this second part to enjoy it.

Three parts in and the story is really getting interesting. A whole new cult to learn about and our regular characters (and some from the past) are making solid appearances. I really don't think there is another series around like this at the moment and the shorter novellas really make the one sitting reading almost impossible to avoid. If you haven't started this yet and you love vampires I would say get yourself on the journey ASAP.
