I really had a tough time understanding this book. The way itâs structured is a bit haphazard to me. Itâs written almost like a blog or diary. The text is chopped up into small sections, and there are numerous headings. Itâs structured like the author is giving a presentation with bullet points. Majority of the headings start out with a verb such as âHave sturdy leaves and stemsâ or âAre plagued by pests indoors due to stressful conditions â. I went over the book several times, and I still donât have a sense of the point of this book. The most useful part of the book (and most organized) starts on page 139. From pages139 to 193, tropical plants are each given a couple pages of useful information such as best growing conditions, pests, along with large, clear photos.
If you are looking for a straightforward tropical plants gardening guide, this isnât it. I believe itâs of a book to see which tropical plant is best for you. I found the text organization too choppy. italian-literature Tropical Plants and How to Love them teaches us about heat loving plants and how to raise and keep them.
