Psychic Cats By Theresa Cheung

1.5 stars Theresa Cheung Do cats have healing powers? Do they have a sixth sense? Do they really know when someone is about to die?

Psychic Cats is a collection of heart-warming true stories that demonstrate the remarkable psychic power of cats. Angel cats that have refused to let death part them from their human companions, cats who have saved lives, cats who have helped their owners find love... this book confirms that our whiskered friends are divine messengers of comfort with precognitive abilities.

Cat-loving soiritualist Theresea Cheung shows that the sixth sense in cats is well and truly alive, and that they have the ability to touch our hearts long after they have purred their last.

I enjoyed these tales of cats going above & beyond the call of duty, although Ugly had me in tears of rage & sorrow. I'm not convinced by the psychic angle, but there is no doubt that cats have preternaturally acute senses & that their company is divine. They certainly do have healing powers, & I benefit from their influence every day. English

I've just finished this book and absolutely loved it~!!!
All the adorable/heart warming/heart breaking stroies!!
My parents also enjoyed it, when I read some of the stories aloud.
As I type this, a little, fluffy, mischief, called Zoe, is sound alseep on my knee. 9780141047645 Amazingly moving book. I could relate to alot of the stories included within the book - makes me feel less like a crazy cat lady.
I was even shedding a tear towards the end. English Various stories from around the UK and the US about the psychic abilities of cats to recognize different phenomena like weather changes, sickness, etc. Some were personal experience of the author; others were from emails. All are believable as cats are pretty amazing animals. The author includes her email address so that readers can report their own stories of psychic cat happenings for a possible future update. English I bought this book at the same time as 'Making the rounds with Oscar', one of my absolute favorite animal books. All I remember is buying them at the same time from a small bookstore in Newcastle, and devouring them in a single night at the inlaws. I am a cat person, but I am also a dog person. As I write this my two cats lie stretched out trying to avoid the heat, and my maltese cross sits on the cool floorboards at my feet. The two kelpies, nutters they are, alternate running through the yard outside playing with a paddle in a childrens' sandpit I've filled with water. In my heart of hearts, I know Ivan means the most to me, but I love them all anyway.

This book is filled with stories of cats who have left a cat sized pawprint on their owner's heart. Some have saved their owner's lives, some see ghosts (or come back as them!) And some know when their owner is coming home or make long journeys to find their beloved human. The very idea is fascinating. My cats comfort me when I am sad or sick, and I can't count the number of times Ivan especially will sit and stare calmly at me, meowing gently until I feel better. Maybe he just knows me well enough to know if I'm acting strangely, but how do you explain sadness to a cat?

I enjoyed this book very much the second time around. I highly recommend it!

English Enjoyable read especially if you are a cat lover and in tune with all things spiritual. English
